Floating Work Platform

Description

This floating work platform is used at DFW International Airport to service aeration equipment on one of the lakes located on airport property.  A dock-mounted lifting boom is used to lift the gearboxes out of these units for regular maintenance. The dock was configured so that it fits the shape of each unit.  A small outboard motor is mounted to the dock to maneuver the dock to each of the 26 aerators.
